The Classic Sausage Roll Goes Vegan

It appears that, in 2019, we’re going to be seeing more and more vegan versions of classic and traditional foods. Here’s a new vegan twist on the traditional favorite – the sausage roll.

The bakery revealed to PBN that the Greggs vegan sausage roll has been ‘designed to mirror some of the sausage roll’s classic features, including 96 layers of light and crisp puff pastry, but instead is made with a bespoke Quorn filling’.
