This smoothie, developed by Vicky this time, is meant to be an occasional indulgence as it is quite high in calories.

However, it is lovely and creamy, almost like having a milkshake.

It is also very similar in taste to our Hazelnut Coffee Nice Cream.

You can also substitute any flavored instant coffee of your choice, or even just some plain instant coffee, if you prefer.

Hazelnut Coffee Smoothie

  • Vitamix


  • 2 cups plant-based milk we used cashew milk
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup raw cashew bits
  • 2 medium bananas, frozen chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Hazelnut instant coffee or flavored instant coffee of your choice
  • 1 small apple quartered, leave skin on


  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately.
