Carrot Ginger Smoothie

This colorful smoothie is packed with nutrients and virtually explodes with ginger taste.
A quick warning: be sure that the dates you use are properly pitted. We accidentally added one date that still had some of its pit. While the Vitamix made a valiant effort to pulverize the pit, it didn’t get it all and there were little hard bits in our smoothie.
So, be sure to check. After all, it would be really embarrassing to have to admit that you chipped your tooth on a smoothie! 🙂

As with most smoothies, just throw everything in a powerful blender and blend until smooth.

Ingredients
- 3 small apples
- 3 large carrots
- ½ cup honey dates, pitted
- 2½ cups plant-based milk of your choice we used almond milk
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- 2 large knobs of ginger
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours or freeze for later use.
