Having a smoothie for breakfast can be fast, tasty and nutritious. This one is particularly easy.
Gather together all your ingredients.
Get all your ingredients prepared and ready to go into the blender.
When we made this particular smoothie, we didn’t have access to our Vitamix (which is what we normally use) and used a small food processor instead.
It wasn’t able to make the mixture as smooth as we’d like.
Actually, it was more of a “chewie” than a smoothie. But it was still amazingly good and good for us.
Poor into a frosty glass and enjoy!
While the calories (358) may seem a bit high, it’s good calories – Whole Foods and Plant-Based with lots of fiber, too!
Banana Pineapple Breakfast Smoothie
- 1 large banana sliced
- ½ medium apple diced
- ½ cup oatmeal
- ½ cup baby spinach packed
- ⅓ cup crushed pineapple packed in its own juice
- ½ cup water
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into glass and enjoy!
